Hello Everyone,
We can PARADE on Tuesday October 05, 2021. We have an excellent return to training plan that will be put to the test tomorrow evening. So....please bear with the Officers & Staff while we work through the plan for the first time tomorrow.
To the Parents & Guardians of Cadets
Just like all parents have experienced within schools in Simcoe County, parents and guardians WILL NOT BE PERMITTED inside the Ferris Lane Community Church. Parents are, however, permitted to bring your Cadet to the door, where they will be greeted by Chambly Officers & Staff in order to review the following:
- that covid-19 screening has been completed successfully
- that your Cadet is wearing appropriate PPE
We are asking that all Cadets and Guardians do not arrive until 1745 hours (545pm) so allow sufficient time for the staff to set up in advance of any arrival of cadets. Entry will be on the east side of the Church which is located at 49 Ferris Lane.
Please have your Cadet bring a healthy snack and a reusable water bottle (just like school).
Announcements that were usually made during sunset and evening quarters (at the close of our training evening) will be posted on our private Facebook Group and emailed to all parents. If you are not on the private Facebook Group, please search for #24 NLCC Chambly, Barrie Navy League Cadets and ask to join. Please also ensure that barrienavyleaguecadets@gmail.com and the domain @navyleagueofcanada.org have been added to your safe list so that emails do not become caught in spam filters.
Per above, Covid-19 screening MUST be completed in advance BEFORE your cadets arrival. It is a google form that is available at the link below. If Covid-19 screening has not been completed, nor can it be verified for completion, your Cadet will not be able to attend training that evening. Please save the link / webpage to your home screen on your mobile device as it will not change.

Lastly, Bryan Dixon, the President of the Navy League of Canada, Barrie Branch would like to briefly address the parents at 1800 hours (6pm) just outside the Church. If you are able, please stay for a few minutes.
